• Small Group Counseling

Small Group Counseling is provided for students who struggle with relationships, personal concerns, or developmental tasks.  Small group counseling assists students in identifying problem areas, causes, alternatives, and possible consequences so that appropriate action is practiced during the group and as a follow-up.  Interventions may take the form of short-term groups or crisis intervention groups that deal with such topics as:

    • Friendship & Social Skills
    • Healthy Relationships
    • Emotional-Regulation
    • Self-Regulation
    • Divorce
    • Coping with Grief & Loss
    • Substance Abuse
    • Study Skills

If you believe your child would benefit from working with a school counselor in a small group, please get in touch with the school counselor at your child's school.
